Michael O'Leary, M.S. CCC-SLP, is the former clinical director of the ICAN Talk Clinic in Pittsburgh, PA. He has public school experience providing diagnostic and treatment for speech-language and AAC services to middle and high school students. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh with a focus on AAC research. He also provides AAC-related services to students with severe autism spectrum disorders at a partial hospitalization program along with outpatient AAC services across the lifespan. He specializes in the evaluation and treatment of individuals with severe movement disabilities such as ALS who need alternative access methods to AAC systems, especially eye gaze and brain computer interface (BCI). Michael also provides consultative services to organizations in need of AAC training and implementation. Michael is a volunteer consultant for the ICAN Talk Clinic and the AAC Institute.
